Pond House-
Approx. 27 minutes from its driveway to ours (17 of those minutes on gravel or dirt roads).
This is using Buckhorn and going the way we went first.
OR
Approx. 20 minutes (5 minutes on dirt road) coming in from the other side, closer to sisters.
The way we left.
Below is Buckhorn Rd. Nicely maintained gravel road. 6 minutes of drive time with Richie cruising at a pretty good speed. Luke wanted him to slow down so he could look for deer!
Big corner below, then heads down hill with an embankment to your right.
Below you are back onto flat land and come into some farm land.
Below is Mkenzie Canyon Rd, this is the beginning and the road is not so bad. It takes approx. 11 minutes to get to the house from here.
As you continue down, the road gets narrow. One car at a time about half the way.
This is a pretty shitty house, the pics do not do it justice!!!
This is the Pond house from the road. This is a private road and not to many houses are past this house so traffic will be at a minimum. I had two friends live on the road growing up and I will warn you that people go FAST down this road when they drive it!!!
This is the second pond (still from the road), you have to go past the pond to turn into the driveway then head back to the house. Your horses would be on the other side of this pond, a good distance from the house. There is about 2 acres (from what Tyson said) of "'flat" land for the horses. I would say you would fence off area alot less than that to keep them in due to the terrain.
This is the biggest work counter in the kitchen.
Below is Mckenzie Canyon Road leaving the opposite direction we came in. You will drive about 5 minutes to be on pavement. You pass a "lake" area owned by DEQ, which is said to have good fishing.
Tyson mentioned that this hill can be tricky in the winter.
